You know that felling you get deep in your gut when you find out you can't trust or depend on someone you thought you could. Had it twice today, I will be removing two more people fro that very short list of friends.

Okay going to get this rolling again.

What the F is up with Harley?

So yesterday I went to the local Harley dealer for a open house/demo event only because I have a hard one for the new XR 1200. So I get there and start taking to one of the sales guys I've know for years and ask if I can demo one, he then tells me "Harley is keeping a limit to the demos and they don't have an XR 1200 to demo", WTF? The Motor Co. has been pissing and crying about low sales numbers over the past few years yet they don't offer a full line of demos at these big demo evens... LAME!

Crap!

The weather is going to be nice this weekend after weeks of rain every weekend and my bike is 150 miles away for the next 8 days. Take good care of her Davin...

Still not keeping up

We are meeting up with some of the folks from the Motorcity RAT in June for a Sunday ride to the Gilmore Vintage bike show, more details to come.

New Jimi Hendrix

I won the new Jimi Hendrix album from a local radio station. So far I thinks is the best stuff of his I've heard, to be fair I've never been a huge fan and will admit I don't now all of his stuff. I'm really digging this one.

one last mock up before paint

I have decided to go in a completely different direction with my bike. I was going to do a bobber then as the pieces started to fall into place I started to see more of a tracker type thing coming to light. I’m leaving the suspension stock height and running Biltwell tracker bars. I have shaved and shortened the rear render and will be running a reto looking round tail/break light I picked up from Licks Cycles (lickscycles.com). When I started the project I didn’t really realize the street tracker thing is starting to become more and more popular, as a result I have found some really cool inspiration out there. At first I was kinda bummed to see so may floating around out there but after all completely original idea are hard to come by now days.I just a few people out there find mine cool enough to inspire them.
